Mediation Style

I worked for two years in a practical role within Employee Relations and trained as a Mental Health First Aider in 2019. These experiences, together with my legal skillset, have given me a holistic view of disputes and dispute resolution. They have also provided a unique perspective in dealing effectively with difficult and emotionally charged conversations. I have received praise both for my constructive and empathetic manner and my ability to build trust in these situations.  

In any mediation, I will work with both parties to identify their positions and interests and any potential roadblocks. I will help facilitate a creative approach to possible settlement options and, while always maintaining neutrality, I am mindful of how my communication style can be adapted to best serve the needs of the particular parties and the underlying dispute.
