Professional Experience

I was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2016. I completed by BPTC at BPP in Holborn, London in 2015 and was classified as ‘Very Competent’. I have a first class LLB from Queen Mary University of London. I also passed my LLM in Professional Legal Practice with a Distinction and one of my specialist areas of research was Meditation. I was Head of Dispute Resolution Services at ADR-ODR International Ltd as well as a self- employed Civil-Commercial and Workplace Mediator. I frequently train Civil-Commercial Mediators through ADR-ODR International.

Style & Approach

I think it is very important during mediations for the parties to the dispute to have complete autonomy. I have a good understanding of the psychology of conflict and think it is vital that Mediators are flexible to the parties’ needs whether this means spending time one-to-one with a party, bringing the parties together early during the mediation process or even mediating by telephone or online. I strive to ensure that all the parties to the dispute feel heard and acknowledged. If a dispute is causing distress for a party it is vital that, that distress is acknowledged and eased not just pushed aside as meaningless emotion. My mediations are a place to be heard and to say what you need to say in order to allow both yourself and the other side to reach a settlement. My legal knowledge also helps me to ensure that my settlements are legally watertight and enforceable in court.
