Civil-Commercial Mediation Training Course
Course Overview
This 9-day programme provides you with 94-hours of first class training as a Civil-Commercial Mediator. The programme is taught by global experts whom have decades of experience. Successful completion of the programme results in you gaining the status ‘ADR-ODR International accredited Civil-Commercial Mediator’. Once you have successfully completed the course you can sit the exams at the Greek Ministry of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights in order to gain status as an accredited mediator according to the Greek law.
Mediation training is provided in collaboration with the European Institute for Conflict Resolution at the Mediation Institute of Thessaloniki (a non-profit organization comprising one bar association and three national chambers and operating under a license from the Legal Profession and Bailiffs Department of the Directorate-General for the Administration of Justice of the Ministry of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights, upon a recommendation from the Mediator Certification Board).
Course Aims
The course aims to teach the delegates how to effectively mediate and what skills need to be possessed by each delegate in order to be successful on this course.
Course Details
The course runs for nine full days (9am-5pm) and will cover the history, psychology, future of mediation. The course also covers the various steps of mediations, the European and national legal framework and teaches the delegates how to conduct each step effectively under the supervision of a trainer. Once the content and steps have been taught, the delegates will have the opportunity to practice conducting 12 full mediations before the final assessment on the last day.
