Professional Experience
I am currently a litigator for the Appeals & Litigation Directorate of the UK Home Office. I will be Called to the Bar of England & Wales as a Barrister in November 2016. I have been awarded an LLM Master of Laws from University College London with particular focus on international mediation. I have contributed in domestic legal discussion with a number of academic publications. My most recent, published by the Gray’s Inn Law Journal, has addressed the notion of criminal and civil juries in light of today’s modern English justice system.
Style & Approach
I ensure that the entire mediation process belongs to the parties notwithstanding the fact that they have voluntarily opted to take part in an effort to resolve their dispute. I maintain what I call “professional friendliness” throughout the process and therefore you can expect the best standard of me both as a barrister and as a person. I have travelled widely and has met local cultures and people in four continents. For this reason, I am well aware of multiple cultural etiquettes – knowledge of these can make any future mediation process ideal and bring about the positive outcome expected.
