Arbitration Course in India  

Course Overview

Our international arbitration course has been specifically designed and developed for professionals with the aim of providing a comprehensive and intensive training programme on the most fundamental aspects of the arbitral process. 

We are delighted to bring Module 1 of this course to India.

At ADR ODR International we believe that delegates learn best by practicing their skills. This is why all of our programmes are skill-based and focused on practical learning and coaching. The programme is presented by highly experienced international tutors and arbitration practitioners who give comprehensive feedback and guidance throughout the course. 

Course Aims & Outcomes

On completion of Module 1 you will be able to: 

1. Understand what is meant by “International Arbitration”. 
2.  Explain the principles and legal requirements.
3. Evaluate and apply those principles and requirements.
4. Identify and understand the arbitral rules and procedures. 

Upon the completion of Module 1 of the course successful delegates will receive certificates and the title of ADR ODR International Associate Arbitrator.

Course Details

This course is uniquely structured in 3 modules allowing you to take each module independently or collectively. You can tailor the course to meet your needs. 


This course will develop your knowledge and practical skills increasing your breadth and understanding of the principles of arbitration allowing you to confidently practice in the field of arbitration following successful completion of each module. 



Module 1 – Compulsory module: Fundamentals of International Commercial Arbitration (2.5 days)

 

1. Fundamental principles of International Arbitration

2. UNCITRAL Model Law and New York Convention

3. The Arbitration Agreement

4. Arbitral Process

5. The Award 

6. The Courts

Where the training is conducted online, you must 

be prepared to have your camera on at all times. 

Module 2 - optional for BTC/BPTC students. Upon successful completion of the module delegates will receive certificates and the title of ADR ODR International Arbitration Advocate.

Module 3 - Compulsory module. Following its completion successful delegates will receive certificates and the title of ADR ODR International Accredited Arbitrator.

DDRS Diploma

Did you know that this course is one of four courses that make up the DDRS Diploma? By completing this course, you gain specialised skills in dispute resolution while also earning credits towards the prestigious Certificate of
Advanced Studies (CAS) in International Business Disputes from the University of Lausanne (subject to meeting the university's requirements). Additionally, these credits can count towards an LLM in Dispute Resolution with a fee reduction of up to 25%.
