Our international arbitration course has been specifically designed and developed for professionals with the aim of providing a comprehensive and intensive training programme on the most fundamental aspects of the arbitral process.

Course Details

This course is uniquely structured in 3 modules allowing you to take each module independently or collectively. You can tailor the course to meet your needs. 

This course will develop your knowledge and practical skills increasing your breadth and understanding of the principles of arbitration allowing you to confidently practice in the field of arbitration following successful completion of each module. 


Module 1 – Compulsory module: Fundamentals of International Commercial Arbitration 
(2.5 days)
 
1. Fundamental principles of International Arbitration
2. UNCITRAL Model Law and New York Convention
3. The Arbitration Agreement
4. Arbitral Process
5. The Award 
6. The Courts

Dates: 
20-22 February, 2025
26-28th June, 2025
11-13th September, 2025

Time: 9:00 am - 17:00 pm (UK time, daily)

Venue: Online (via Zoom)


Module 2 - optional for BPTC students. Upon successful completion of the module delegates will receive certificates and the title of ADR ODR International Arbitration Advocate.

DDRS Diploma

Did you know that this course is one of four courses that make up the DDRS Diploma? By completing this course, you gain specialised skills in dispute resolution while also earning credits towards the prestigious Certificate of
Advanced Studies (CAS) in International Business Disputes from the University of Lausanne (subject to meeting the university's requirements). Additionally, these credits can count towards an LLM in Dispute Resolution with a fee reduction of up to 25%.
