Our international arbitration course has been specifically designed and developed for professionals with the aim of providing a comprehensive and intensive training programme on the most fundamental aspects of the arbitral process.

Course Aims

This course will develop your knowledge and practical skills increasing your breadth and understanding of the principles of arbitration allowing you to confidently practice in the field of arbitration.

Course Details

This course is uniquely structured in 3 modules allowing you to take each module independently or collectively. You can tailor the course to meet your needs.

Module 1 – Compulsory module: Fundamentals of International Commercial Arbitration

(2.5 days)

1. Fundamental principles of International Arbitration

2. UNCITRAL Model Law and New York Convention

3. The Arbitration Agreement

4. Arbitral Process

5. The Award

6. The Courts

Date: 26 - 28 January 2022

Time: 9:00 am - 17:00 pm (UK time, daily)

Venue: Online (via Zoom)

Module 2 - optional for BPTC students. Upon successful completion of the module delegates will receive certificates and the title of ADR ODR International Arbitration Advocate.
